Infamous what happens if u save trish

During the final chapter of the game you have to choose between saving Trish or saving doctors from one of two buildings. The game claims you have enough time only for one or the other. It also presents a karma choice moment. It seems that both choices are technically good.

I'd think the evil choice would be to have a beer and let both the doctors and Trish dangle to their deaths. If I'm trying to maintain good karma as far as the plot is concerned, which choice should I make?

I do recommend you try this mission again with the bad karma choice, not spoiling too much, I would say the bad karma choice is one of the better scenes in the game.

Did he even finish high school? He probably doesn't have a very sophisticated ethical understanding or a complex philosophy. He didn't seem like the classic "sage janitor" archetype Ex: Will in Good Will Hunting, etc , he seemed like the kind of people Pulp or The Levellers sing about.

In any event Trish's death. Sucks that you couldn't save her. I can see how it's meant to be a 'lesson' that Cole must learn, but the handling of it was, to me, slightly off. I may be alone on this one. What aggrivated me about the whole thing was after the moral choice popped up, I had no way of knowing which group was the doctors and which was Trish. Then it's mentioned that I have 30 seconds to make my decision, but how can I when I have no clue which group is which.

They did a terrible job on that mission. I could care less that she died, as I figured it was inevitable anyways. I just wish they would of showed on the HUD which group was which. My perfectly good moral standing was tainted with that mission, and that annoyed me. There was like 2 buildings, one with a group of doctors and one with a lone lady hanging Color-coding the dots or something would have helped tremendously.

I just scoped out which building had more than one person hanging off of it, which only took like five seconds, but there was no way to tell via the HUD and I was paralyzed in annoyed indecision for a second or two. Basically, nobody else would actually know that it is not possible to save Trish unless you are as mad a gamer as we are. But this makes Infamous appeal to me more so. Because of the fact that loads of people here seemed to have reloaded their save JUST becuase a character died.

That just seems to show character development, and i like that in a game. It was an origin story. It was to show that Kessler, even though seemingly evil, did all of this because it was inevitable sure, but because the way he changed things helped Cole become a better person than Kessler was.

While the illusion was a fake and merely a mind game, it subdued Cole to the point of being captured without a struggle.

Cole, in tears, apologized to Trish for not being able to save her. Luckily for Cole, Sasha of all people, was able to prove to him that the hallucination wasn't real and allowed him to escape. After a month, the Beast attacked Empire City. Cole, unable to defeat the Beast, watched in a broadcast as the city was blown to bits, including Trish's grave. Trish's death continued to haunt Cole during his time in New Marais.

When Zeke briefly mentioned her, Cole blamed himself for her death, saying that Trish saving him got her killed. In one of Lucy Kuo 's transmissions to Wolfe, she admitted she had intended to seduce Cole into coming to New Marais, but gave up on the idea after seeing that he still grieved for Trish, and was willing to come to New Marais anyway to prepare for his battle with the Beast.

In Kessler's timeline, it was revealed that she married Cole and they both had two unnamed daughters. Trish and the girls, however, were later murdered by the Beast after years of fleeing around the world with Cole while the Beast destroyed it. In an act of vengeance and guilt, Cole took the name Kessler and took a one-way trip back to the past to prepare his past-self and prevent the Beast from destroying the world, going as far as to kill the woman he loved, Trish.

In an alternate timeline where Cole descended into evil and continued to make Empire City even worse, Trish continued to despise Cole and what he had become. When Trish was thrown onto the hospital roof by Alden and Cole rescued her, Trish criticized his evil and selfish actions, killing civilians and undoing all the good she had tried to do. When Cole was given the choice to save Trish or the six doctors, he decided to save Trish, however, unknown to Cole, she was among the six doctors, who fell to their deaths instead.
